Del's Popcorn Shop is proud to be partnering with Gallery 510 for a popcorn fundraiser in September!
All proceeds will help support our “Arts in Education” programs for the creative students and artists in our community.
Gallery 510 was established in May 1991 by a group of artists from Central Illinois. This professional artist co-op
aims to raise awareness of the benefits of the arts by providing original, regional artwork, as well as exhibition space
and educational opportunities. We exist as a supportive art community where artists can find fellowship and encouragement.
Gallery 510 offers a gift shop for original art, prints, cards, jewelry, custom framing and other artisanal items created by our local member
artists.
How funds will be used:
Your generosity will contribute to our 'Arts in Education' programs we host throughout the year for 5th - 8th grade and high school students. We also work with the Decatur Area Arts Council to host Decatur's annual 'Arts in Central Park' art fair providing art, activities and entertainment in September. Gallery 510 strives to nourish an interest in the visual fine arts as a public service, to act as a progressive source of cultural and educational enrichment, and to act as a venue for professional and emerging artists.
The fundraiser will run from September 6 to September 28. You can pick up your treats from Del’s Popcorn right around the corner from Gallery 510 on Merchant Street in downtown Decatur.
